🦃 Grateful Hands and Healing Hearts: A Thanksgiving Message

As the days get shorter and the smell of pumpkin pie fills the air, I can’t help but slow down and reflect on all that I’m grateful for this Thanksgiving season. At the very top of that list is you, my wonderful clients. Each time you come in for a session, you remind me why I love this work so much. If I am having a bad day, my work is what sets the ship right.

Whether you’re taking a break from a busy week, recovering from an injury, or just making space for yourself, it’s an honor to be part of your wellness journey. Your trust, your stories, and even your laughter on the table fill my days with purpose and joy. I’m so thankful for the connection we share and for the opportunity to help you feel a little lighter, more free, and more at peace in your body.

Of course, between sessions, I do my own self-care too — and one of the things I’m most grateful for is… my lacrosse ball! It may not look like much, but that small, firm sphere has saved me more times than I can count. Whether I’m leaning into it against the wall to work out a knot in my shoulder or rolling it under my foot after a long day, it’s my secret weapon for staying loose and pain-free. It’s a reminder that healing doesn’t always have to be fancy — sometimes, it’s just about showing up for yourself in simple, consistent ways. These branded lacrosse balls are available to purchase, while supplies last, for $5 at TMT. So don't forget to pick up one for yourself or a loved one so that they can feel some relief between massage sessions too!

The Power of Gratitude (and Why It Works)

I’ve also learned that gratitude isn’t just something we feel — it’s something that can truly change us. Science has shown that when we practice gratitude regularly, amazing things happen in our brains and bodies. It helps lower stress hormones, improve sleep, boost immunity, and even make us more resilient during tough times. It’s like giving your mind and heart their own little massage. If I have learned anything over my 20+ year career it is that taking a few moments each day to notice what’s good — your health, your family, your breath, even the quiet moments — can shift your entire outlook. Gratitude softens us, grounds us, and helps us see the beauty in the everyday.

From My Heart to Yours

So, this November, I want to say thank you. Thank you for allowing me to do what I love.

Thank you for showing up for yourself — because when you care for your body, you’re also caring for your mind and spirit. And thank you for reminding me that healing is a partnership built on trust, kindness, and a little bit of gratitude. May your holiday season be filled with warmth, good company, deep breaths, and maybe even a lacrosse ball under your foot.

With gratitude and gentle hands,

💙 Mich

Business Spotlight

Every month I will highlight a trusted business from my website

Sudz City - Millbury MA

Being a solo massage therapist one of the things I am super thankful for is Sudz City Laundromat. Sudz City offers a Wash Dry and Fold service that is efficient but also saves me a load (pun intended) of time. The staff at Sudz City does an excellent and timely job for my busy schedule. Most importantly they are always so helpful and friendly everytime Gracie (my pug) and I walk into the door. Sudz City has excellent facilities for self serve and a wonderful staff that makes this small business owners life a little bit easier. Highly recommended!!

Positive Quote

"Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgivings, turn routine jobs into joy, and change ordinary opportunities into blessings.”

— William Arthur Ward

P.S. Don't forget about the FOOD DRIVE that I am doing at TMT. Instead of tipping please bring non perishable items that will be donated to Millbury's own Federated Church Food Bank. The donations collected will be given to the church on November 21st, just in time for Thanksgiving. Items like: cereal, pasta, rice, canned veggies & beans, canned fruits, pancake mix, syrup, peanut butter & jelly, crackers, stove top stuffing, shelf-stable milk, instant mashed potatoes, and anything else you can think of that will not spoil. Monetary donations will be accepted and given to the food bank as well.
